Account Settings & Security
Settings, in the left-side menu, is where your account profile and login security live -- separate from your plan and billing, and separate from how your AI receptionist is trained.
Your business profile
At the top of Settings, you'll find your Business Name and Business Description fields, plus a unique Vendor ID tied to your account -- worth keeping handy if you ever need to reference your account with support. Update either field and click Save to apply the change.
It's easy to mix these up with the business description you write in Bot Studio, but they're not the same thing. This profile is your account identity. Your AI receptionist's actual answers come from the business description and FAQs you set up separately under Training -- see the training guide if you haven't set that up yet.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Below your business profile, the Security section shows whether two-factor authentication is on or off. It ships off by default. Click "OFF -- click to enable" to turn it on.
Once enabled, every login asks for a 6-digit code emailed to you, in addition to your password. It's a small extra step that meaningfully lowers the risk of someone else getting into your account, even if they somehow get your password.
Resetting your password
Forgot your password? You don't need to be logged in to fix that. From the login screen, use the forgot password link, and Botnira emails you a 6-digit code to reset it.
